Yali Friedman at BiotechBlog has created a new web site that offers a series of online biotechnology courses for free. A lot of the courses cover the basics, but this is great for me since I'm no expert.

Throughout the courses you are presented with some questions to make sure you are paying attention. I suspect this is a resource that will be continually updated and added to as time goes on.

A great application for this new site is to help prospective biotech students decide whether or not the field is right for them before they spend 10K and 2 years of their life to find out in school.
