The Catholic University of America/Important New Program

CUA now offers a graduate M.S. degree or graduate Certificate in biotechnology. In addition, a dual undergraduate degree program in which a matriculating student can earn both an B.S. and M.S. degree in biotechnology in 5 rather than 6 years is separately available.

A CUA press release about the program can be found at
http://publicaffairs.cua.edu/Releases/2010//10BiotechDegree.cfm

Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary field that uses biological processes, organisms, or systems to manufacture products intended to improve the quality of human life.

Information about the biotechnology program can be found at our new Web site at http://biotechnology.cua.edu/

Applications for admission to the graduate program can be made through August 2010, although earlier applications are preferred. Applications for transfer admission to the undergraduate dual degree program will be due on July 15, 2010, and students should indicate their interest in the biotechnology program.

Students can submit applications for either graduate or undergraduate admission directly online at https://applyonline.cua.edu/login.cfm

Please feel free to contact me at any time regarding this program. I look forward to working with you.

All best.
