The Ferris State University biotechnology program is a Bachelors level program and focuses on five primary aspects of the field: Recombinant DNA Cell Culture Immunology Laboratory Animal Care Advanced Protein Isolation Techniques. The program is broken up into two main sections. The first two years cover the basics of biotechnology and performance in this portion of the program dictates admission to the second portion. The second portion of their program is a laboratory intensive two years that students start as a junior.
