Purdue University is strongly commited to biotechnology education. The school offers several programs at every degree level. Their biotechnology program is offered out of their Department of Industrial Technology. The biomedical engineering programs are offered out of Purdue's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering. The Weldon School was established in 1972 and is one of the nation's top biomedical engineering schools.
