The biotech programs offered by UMSL are a result of the cooperation between the Department of Biology and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Faculty from both departments take part in making these programs possible. The degrees offered by USML provide students with a solid foundations in both chemistry and biology. Students receive a broad based science education along with biotechnology training.
